The Bible in John 17:17 speaks of the Word of God being Truth. This concept takes into account all Word coming from God through Jesus, the Apostles and even in our modern times from Genuine Servants of God
In Romans 6:17-18, we are told that those who believe the Bible and are concerted to Christianity through Salvation, are now free from sin unto being servants of righteousness through Christ. This is true, because Christian Believers around the World cannot serve God and the Angels of Evil. They are and must be servants of what are good and right in the eyes of God and according to the Commandments of the Bible.
The United States recently celebrated another Independence (4th of July, 2008) which is a celebration of freedom from the past and continuation of greatness in the present and future. But the freedom has its own problems as the USA interacts with the world – and many across the world still do not like some Americans. Americans are free to a great extent, but must abide by laws, rules and regulations that each State and the Federal Government say they must abide by. The same applies to visitors to the country. So although Americans are free, they are restricted by the above.
Christian Believers are free from sin because of the sacrifice and power of God through Christ role on the Cross. But they are not free to do as they like because the Commandments of God still applies in their lives – and must be adhered to.
So in the secular or natural life we can be free, but must live by the laws of the land. In the Christian Spiritual life while still alive, Believers have to abide by the laws of God first then that of man. They are free from sin unto righteousness, but unto their free own laws or rules. God’s laws must still be obeyed in order for a Believer to make it into eternal Life in at end – death or otherwise.
